Description

Rodaja is an independent game studio, based in Málaga (Spain), focused on the development of local multiplayer videogames.

History

Origin

Rodaja is founded in 2013 by brothers David, Alejandro and Alberto Rico Zambrana, and their friend Jesús J. Fernández Romero following a summer of learning videogame design. After taking part in LudumDare 28 with "Te y De" they start a professional relationship with Madcap LS (Miguel González Otero) as composer and sound designer for later projects.

Contest-winning

The studio then starts the development of the (still in progress) "Unfair Jousting Fair", winner of the contest organized by Gamepolis and Andalucía Emprende in 2014. Their entry for LudumDare 31 "Platform 31" wins People's Choice Award at Granada Gaming 2014.
